  Compatibility
Nokia 9300 uses the same user interface as the 9200 series and the new 9500 - the Series 80 platform version 2.0. This makes it compatible with other Symbian OS-based Communicator models. Some incompatibilities may occur due to the new operating system version (7.0s) and hardware improvements, but such applications will certainly be quickly updated and released as new, Nokia 9500/9300 compatible versions. This means that majority of existing Series 80 software will be available for the new Communicator, too.
  9300 versus 9500
There are only four important differences. 1) Weight and size: the 9300 is much lighter and smaller than the 9500. It's the only fully functional PDA of a plain GSM phone size. 2) Slightly reduced standby and talk time due to smaller battery. 3) No digital camera. 4) No Wi-Fi.
