Hi. When I make a photo by my n70, why the date of modification of this file is always one hour earlier than the REAL date of creation of the file?

You could check if the timezone and daylight savings settings are correct. Or you could activate network operator time.

What's the difference between 'Auto time update' and 'Daylight-saving'? I have 'off' both of them.

If you have "Auto time update" selected, you will automatically get the correct time and timezone on your phone from the mobile network.

The "Daylight saving" setting is used when you manually adjust the timezone and this affects the timezone. If you have "Daylight saving" set to "Off" and its is summer time, the timezone will be wrong with 1 hour. And thus your file timestamps will also be 1 hour off.

Yes. All mobile networks probably support this feature.

OK. I've turned 'Auto time update' on, but still file creation date is wrong (minus one hour)...

You could open a data connection with the web browser or email client (or activate and deactivate the Offline profile). This will allow the mobile network to send the time and timezone to the phone.

Either your phone doesn't have got a time update from the network, or your network does not support time updates.

You can test this by going back to manual mode and then set the clock some minutes back or forth. Then activate automatic time update. If the clock after some time then shows the correct time, automatic time updates are supported.

Then automatic time updates are not supported on your network, so you have to go back to manual mode. You now have to set "Daylight saving" to "On" in order to get the correct timezone on your device.

OK, almost two years later, I still experience this problem.

Average image I take has the following dates:
date of modification: -2 hours of taking
date of creation: empty
date taken: accurate and true information.

Why date of modification is always 2 hours earlier than actual date? This also applies to video files.
