Hi

My old 7610 (S60v2) does not let me know when the battery is low and needs charging. Does anybody know of software that can do that?

Regards

Patrick

It is built-in; there is a battery meter in the upper right; just like on all Nokia S60 phones. Maybe the battery is old and can't keep a charge and dies before the phone can warn about it. The phone is around five years old.

I know and this works perfectly.
All I want is something that will beep at regular intervals when the battery goes low to remind me to charge.

The phone will do that when the battery gets low.

My 7610 doesn't. Can you tell me how to turn that feature on?

You have to turn on warning tones in the active profile. On my E90, this can be done as follows:
  • Menu -> Tools -> Profiles -> <select profile> -> Personalise -> Warning tones -> On
It may be slightly different on your 7610.

It is the same on my 7610.
Warning tones are on but this does not cause the phone to "beep" at regular intervals when the battery gets low.
