Hi.

On my MMC card I can see a lot of files with strange names and formats.

For instance,
1. name: `Wjl░.«, format: «
2. name: -╣v%j.^ , format: ^
etc.

Moreover, the name of my card is also kinda strange.

What's going on?

How big are the files? If they're like... gigabytes, then I think what's going on:
In Windows you have transferred some files or folders inside some folders in the MMC.

This has happened to me at least 5 times with my Nokia 9210's 256MB MMC, and I've managed to pinpoint the problem as described. The solution is to move or paste your files directly to the MMC's root directory, e.g. G: or F: (whatever it is), and move them around in your phone's file manager.

I hope this helps.

Yeah, you're right. Their size has a range from 0.7 to 3.2GB.

Two questions:
1. Can I simply delete them?
2. Are they... err, some kinda of error?

Thanks!

I haven't been able to delete them. I have moved the real, useful files onto my computer, formatted the MMC, and put the files back in.
