i recently dusted off my 7710, which i used all of 3-5 days and went back to my communicator...and my wife, has traded in her htc wing for the 7710. and she really likes it!

it is a bit slow on the edge in comparison, but much better over-all.

so, now that it is being used, the question comes up, where is the software at?!

i have tried finding some software for the s90, but there really is nothing out there like that of the s80 or s60v3!

anyone have any idea and can possibly post some links would be great...and of course, i would buy what ever is available here michal! Wink

currently, i have:

best fileman
best full screen caller id
best ebible
explode arena
super miner
best taskman.

but have not been able to find much of anything else for her.

thanks for your help.

Only four pages of apps listed here. S90 really never took off; it was almost dead by the time it arrived as Nokia decided to merge S60/S80 and S90.

There are 70 programs in our Series 90 Software catalog. The main page only lists 20 most recently added titles. To see all of them, browse the categories listed on the left side of that page.

I doubt if you can find any other S90 applications besides those listed in our catalog. But if you're patient enough, you can check the Nokia 7710 section of the Software Shop. You'll find much more entries there but most of them are Java MIDlets, ebooks, ringtones and things like that. But maybe you can find some MIDlets (Java apps) of your interest there. The 7710 supports Java MIDP and most midlets should run just fine on it so Java apps may turn out to be a good alternative/substitute to missing native applications...

A good example of Java apps : Gmail (Java) works like a charm - fully utilizing the wide screen.
