Well thanks for the great work. In the manual you´ve written "Sega CD not emulated". This shoudnt be possible to emulate at all on an current UIQ Phone, right ?

It is certainly possible, but it is not clear how many games would be playable. Perhaps games which don't use the extra hardware much would run, maybe will try to add some basic support someday..

As far as I know, it only misses proper emulation of shadow/hilight and interlace modes, but these are rarely used by games and emulating these properly would be slow, so I see no point to work on these.

Thank you very much for this emulator Very Happy

Could you please add shadow/hilight emulation? One of my favourite strategy games (Advanced Military Commander) is hardly playable without this feature Sad

Arrow As you can see from the attached shot, the range of units is clearly displayed with Gens but completely invisible with PicodriveN...

Thanks for your efforts, Notaz.

if someone is willing to, test the following games to see if they work without major problems in the latest version of PicoDriveN:

-Strider Returns
-International Super Star Soccer Deluxe (Unplayable, crashed after pressing start at title screen)
-Super Street Fighter 2 (didn't work)

didn't think that any games could become unplayable because of this. ok, will see what I can do.

tested these while was doing development, all of them work for me (International SuperStar Soccer Deluxe needs Z80 to work).

Cool, thanks for your reply Notaz. All the emulators i've tested before both for my phone and for Dreamcast weren't able to run ISS deluxe.I see it'll be worth to wait until Anotherguest port it to Symbian S60

for all the a925 users, you can control the picodrive sound volume with the music player volume control, the one that comes with a925. that sounds weird, but it actually works! that way you can still use the volume control buttons for other pico related keys.

and once again, big shout outs to Notaz for turning our phones into so much more with his quality emulators.

Respect.

Can someone test "Shinobi 3: Return of the Ninja master" in this emulator to see if it's possible to go to Options screen?

just finished big megadrive classic: the story of thor (great game). this emu is AMAZING! with settings: rotation 90, screen mode fit, accurate timing i sprites and with disabled sound it was fast (like a real one), smooth (even with MANY animated sprites on screen) and absolutely no compatibility issues! thanks again notaz, and again, and again, and.... Very Happy . i hope that snes9x will be the same Rolling Eyes (SNES is my favourite old console).
PS- one thing that i think could be useful to implement - a few save slots. five will be fine. for example: it will be selectable by scrolling jogdial up and down, from 1 to 5 with onscreen info: "saveslot 1 selected" or something like that. saving i loading could be done normally, like now: with "game saved to slot 1" or "game loaded from slot 1" info. Is this possible notaz?
