This is another port of Dave's Picodrive for UIQ. It is based on newer version of Pico library, improved Cyclone core and has alternative port part with full sound support. In addition, there are many other fixes and optimizations.

The good:
* Good compatibility (> 90%)
* Modified Cyclone 68000 core with better compatibility.
* Zipped ROMs and savestates.
* SRAM support, including serial SRAM.
* Game screen rotation with many render modes (like 'centered' and 'fit')
* Frameskip selection.
* Configurable keys and touchpad.
* Flip-closed mode for SE phones.
* Full sound support.

The bad:
* 32x, Sega CD, SVP are not emulated.
* Some games don't run or have various glitches due to inaccurate emulation
* Various VDP quirks (window bug, scroll size 2, etc.) are not emulated, as very few cames use this.

I got an error while installation. Should I uninstall picodrive first?

just installed it on A920, works very well. only bad part is the configure keys, kinda hard to figure out. at least i can finaly do save state

oh, finally! thank you so much notaz, been waiting for an update for a long time.
i ll test it on my a925 and see how it does. i there any hope for a snes emulator?

Check the Dave's site. The only difference is that games are fullscreen.

No, this is completely different app and should not interfere. What kind of error are you getting?

What is that bad about configure keys? You just select function you want on the right (lets say megadrive "A" key), and then tap the touchpad areas or press the phone buttons you want to act as that key. Then when you start the game, those areas and keys will work as megadrive "A" key. I know this is something not widely used around, but couldn't think of easy way to configure touchpad.

Is it really running well on Motorola phones? Is the screen ok? Do the keys work?

When i installed picodriveN i also had the old picodrive on there and it didnt affect it at all. Keep up the good work notaz

it works like a charm on an a925 with the newest GeneriX firmware installed.
what pleased me the most was that your version can run shadowrun, one of the best RPG game for genesis. in other words, the compatilbility is much better than the old picodrive. and another good thing is that you can map more buttons with your version.

how about a snes emulator, is it even possible? i mean, if vsun is able to run snes games on s60 phones, i see no reason why it couldnt be done on uiq phones which have faster processors. without sound of course.

Does anybody experience this too?

Yeah i got that message as well. Thats the only thing that doesnt work

About my error (it continues...):
"Error no se puede crear un archivo que ya existe". Im peruvian (southamerican) so my PC OS is in spanish. That message could be translated as "Error, It cant be created a file that already exist"

Just posted a fix for this. Try it out if you have a Motorola phone. Go to Settings, check "Pause emulation on call", load a ROM and ask someone to call you Then post if it works here. Thanks.

Hm, never seen that. Try to clear the TEMP folders on your PC. If you don't know where your temp folder is, try to run "Disk Cleanup" (start->run and type cleanmgr), maybe it will clear them.

Of course it IS possible, somebody just needs to port it There is one emu for GP32 which is worth a try (OpenSnes9xGP), but I'm currently too busy with university exams.
