			<title>E90 help!!!! (1 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43711</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> i updated the firmware of my E90 to latest version via ovi suite, but before i did that, i backed up phone memory to memory card.

after that, i updated firmware and restored the backup, lo and behold everything was restored (notes, calendar entries, SMS messages, configuration, etc) except for CONTACTS!!!!!

what could have gone wrong and is there still a way to recover the contacts from the memory card backup?...

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> I'm trying to update my e90, but since I'm on a Mac I have to do it via the phone itself as there's no NSU for the Mac that supports the e90.

How would one do this? I've been Googling now for a good 20 minutes and haven't found out how to do it.

Appreciate the help....

			<title>The Nokia e90... (8 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43347</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hey guys, excuse me for the rant but I need to get this off my chest.

I've been a faithful Nokia Communicator for years. In fact, I still own two of my original Nokia 9000's. (9000i, 9000il) I made the switch to the 9110 and shortly thereafter to the 9210. Then the 9300 and the 9500 finally came out, wanted the 9300i, but since the 9300 released circa the same time as the 9500 came out, I went for the 9500 because of WiFi.

All these phones gave me excellent service, and in fact I have all of them (minus the 9500 due to it being stolen) and they all still work. Including the 9000il!

After my 9500 was stolen, I toyed around with other phones to see what I was missing. Come to find out, the only thing I was missing was my communicator. After playing around with the TyTn II, iPhone 3G(S) I opted to ditch them all for a shiny new e90.

I'm on my third one now! First one was stolen, the second one I used so much that it basically wore itself out. Bought a nice new case and...

Looks like the E7 assumes an Internet call as the default option and something should be changed, but what?...

			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42797</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> New to the forum, as my quest to purchase a Nokia E90 begins.

As most people know, when the E90 was initially released, it had a few issues (microphone, keyboard, etc.). As far as I know, most of the design issues were corrected and a second (V2) version of the E90 was released. Excluding the keypad update, which made all keys level (ala Nokia 9300), are there any other visual cues (labeling, model numbers, IMEI, etc.) that I could look for in determining which version of the E90 I would be purchasing....

			<title>Different menu layouts - possible? (14 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42676</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> I tried to search all over Google about this but stumbled upon none. The topic is about different kind of menu layouts which can be found on the S60 v3.1 SDK's emulator, under
Menu - and gt; Settings - and gt; General - and gt; Personalisation - and gt; Themes - and gt; Menu view
Here are all the possible layouts listed:

http://www.symbioosi.net/Kuvat/menu.png

Below are screenshots of every one of them. These layouts are very nice as the icons slide on the screen smoothly and get bigger when they are brought to the foreground etc.

Appshell Trackster H2

Horse shoe wheel

Anybody have had any luck getting these kind of layouts on the phone?...

			<title>Mobbler/Last.FM/E90 Woes (4 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42669</link>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Has anyone else noticed that:

1) Fring no longer offers a last.fm add-on for the E90 (and perhaps for other S60 3rd devices(

2) That mobbler will not properly download the track to be played. It consistently freezes 3-4 times per track.

Googling tells me that last.fm may no longer work with third-party apps. Can anybody confirm that or have my last.fm problems?

			<title>E90 can't find card: (No memory card inserted) (4 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42662</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hi,

for some time, my E90 had shown a message like: Please remove memory card, and re-insert. I assumed the card was broken (although I could still read it on the PC, via the adapter), so I got a new one. Unfortunately, the E90 can't find it, and just tells me (No memory card inserted). This card also reads and writes fine on the PC.

I have tried re-formatting (on the PC), and also upgraded the phone to the latest firmware, but nothing has helped.

Any ideas what might be going on?

Cheers...
