<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hey,

I have a strange new Problem. As far as I remember this has been posted here already, but I couldn't find the topic. So please direct me there, if you know it...

My problem is, that I can't open SMS messages from the Inbox. And I can't open any Mail either.

My messages are stored on the memory card and I had never problems before.

I will receive both SMS or Mails, but trying to open it will just do nothing.

Any suggestions?...

			<title>E71: Only 14 out of ~50 Notes get synced (5 replies)</title>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Whenever I try to sync the notes I entered into my phone, I have the problem that it will always sync the same 14 notes.

I really have more notes and I can't even find that 14 notes that get synced anywhere. What can be wrong there?

It does not mather which software I use. Ovi Suite, Nokia PC Suite, even Funambol and SyncLion won't sync any of my current notes.

How to fix this?...

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> It's been 4 years since Atelier announced a working phone with Zfone, but I have yet to see any.
I've tried for days and days to find anything about phones and Zfone, but all I find is Zfone with PC applications.

Anyone who got any clue about if there exists a phone with Zfone?
Or perhaps even an explanation about how to get Zfone installed in your phone?

The Zfone libZRTP SDK runs on more platforms than the Zfone application. It has been used on Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS X, Linux, Windows Mobile, and Symbian. Our SDK is written in C. We don't have a Java version at this time.

			<title>Unable to upgrade to latest firmware on UK T-Mobile N95 (2 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43290</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hello,

I have a UK supplied T-Mobile N95 (RM 159) with firmware v31.0.017 (16Dec08). This is currently locked to T-Mobile UK.

I have a problem with this device in that it will not pair with the Bluetooth adaptor in a BMW and #8211; it goes through all the motions, but just hangs trying to authenticate the passkey.

Having had a similar problem with an E90 on a Saab Bluetooth, I was able to clear this by upgrading the firmware to the latest version.

Checking online I have discovered that the latest firmware for the N95 is v35.0.002 (18Nov09).

Using the latest Ovi suite I tried to upgrade the N95 but the program reports that I have the latest version.

Given that T-Mobile did not always validate the latest N95 firmware and have little incentive to do it now, I have used NSS to change the product code from 0546659 (T-Mobile UK) to the generic 0536062 (Euro 1 and #8211; Plum) on the expectation this would allow upgrade to the latest firmware.

Having changed the ...

			<title>Nokia Ovi Suite - can't connect to the Internet (2 replies)</title>

			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> hey.
I tried to connect my laptop to the internet using my E61 phone. I downloaded the recent version of Nokia Ovi Suite, connected the phone using blue-tooth. The phone is shown as connected, everything's great and fine.
Now, I'm trying to connect to the Internet as instructed. I do Tools and gt; Connect to Internet and nothing. When I say nothing, I really mean nothing. Nothing happens. The menu fades away when I click on it, and no other menu appears. As if that option had no functionality.
I disconnected my laptop from my regular internet connection and when I did that, an icon appeared in the Ovi home with a link to connect to the internet. I tried to click on it and the same problem. Nothing happens..

Any ideas?...

			<title>How to set up Email in S60v3/5/^3 and bypass the Nokia Messa (0 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42995</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> How to set up Email in S60v3/5/^3 and bypass the Nokia Messaging (NM)

In an effort to have a base-line to assist with possible email issues with Nokia Messaging, I have made the following tutorial to help users to bypass the Nokia Messaging (NM) as it is the auto-default to set up email on Nokia devices.

NM allows for and #8220;push and #8221; email, which will not keep you constantly online and will allow for marking your server email with what you have on your device. Ie-if it is read on the device, it will be marked as read on the server, deleted, then deleted, etc.

When you bypass the NM, you will lose the and #8220;push and #8221; but you can setup most email as an IMAP4 which will do the same thing, and you can select what folders to sync, and how often to have them sync, not keeping you online.

This tutorial was done on a Symbian s60v5 device, and while some of the dialog may be different among devices, the process is relatively the same when bypassing NM....
